I am from a visa-exempt country and I hold a Post-Graduation Work Permit (OWP). I need to travel for a couple of days outside Canada and according to the CIC website, my eTA was already issued automatically because my PGWP was issued after May 1, 2017. (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/questions-answers-by-topic.asp?st=16.7)
I did not received any eTA number or e-mail from the government therefore how can I check my eTA if It was already issued?

Why do you need an ETA number to check status in this link, it asks for your passport details not ETA number. The ETA should be linked to your passport not your PGWP given the latter is not of course a travel document.
