We are due a family holiday to Toronto in 2 weeks. We all applied for an Eta about 4 weeks ago but my daughter who is supposed to be coming with us has a criminal record. We are trying to add the police certificate to the Eta but it is not showing up in the Ircc account. What do we do? You can't even speak to someone. Time is running out. So frustrating.

Rightly or wrongly it is not up to airlines or travel agents to provide this information but up to individual travelers to research the requirements for the country they want to visit. I would say this is especially important to do in cases where someone has past convictions.
Unfortunately not much you can do at this point but wait and hope the eTA is processed in time. Good luck.
If she had a criminal record, you would know she may be inadmissable. It is not up to airlines to tell you as you need to do your own due diligence on visas required especially with criminal record.
So long as it’s not serious crime and time has passed hopefully your daughter will be able to join you on your family holiday. You should anticipate IIRC to email asking you to submit the police certificate. If they haven’t submit a ticket via the web form. Good luck and let us know how it goes for you.
