I'm applying for an ETA application and I need help with this question.
Have you ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry to, or ordered to leave Canada or any other country/territory?
I've never been refused a visa or permit, denied entry to, or ordered to leave Canada or any other country/territory, but I recently applied for a visa EXTENSION but the application was denied because I applied for extended my visa instead of extending my study permit. In this case, should I answer yes or no?
I would err on the safe side and say "yes" because it's something like being refused a permit of some sort, IMO. If there is a box to explain it, that is better. Sometimes answering "yes" can trigger a delay in processing.
