When I came to Canada with my family for the first time, we had connected flight at Dubai with gap of 10 hours. Emirates Airline gave coupon for stay at hotel for 8 hours. Our passports have entry exit stamps for Dubai, entry is 27 Feb and exit is 28 Feb, as date change during this time. Should we need to declare this in citizenship application.

In the online residence calculator, you need to enter the date when you left Canada and the date when you returned to Canada(entry date). In the details/description, you can mention that you stayed in Dubai and all relevant details. That way during interview when the officer checks your passport and finds those stamps then you can relate them to the info mentioned in the online residence calculator. Also get the stamps translated if these are not in english and take it during the interview.
