Has someone or you friends had experience on below issue ?
All my family members are PR holders. We received 3 years ago (November 2010). I am planning to relocate to Canada in January 2014. Will the visa officer cause problem while entering Canada ?
You always take the risk of being reported when you breach the Residence Obligation so no one knows what will happen to you on the date of entry because it all depends on the border officer you meet - some are easy going and some are not.
I had a friend who did that after living 4 years of outside of Canada and he wasn't reported. It all depends on the border officer. You can take a risk.
Had you arrived before nov 13 you would have been totally fine.
But youve technically breached the residency obligation of living in canada for 2 out of 5 yrs. Risky to move now..not many ppl tend to get in this situation. Best to arrive during busy time like midday so border officer may nt have too much time to look at your passport thoroughly. Good luck!
