I am due to fly out of NZ tommorow. I worked in Canada last year with a WHP visa. I am working for same employer again and am just waiting for my LMO to get back. The company has had positive LMO's for the last 3 years so it shouldn't be a prob.
Can I enter on a tourist visa and wait for my LMO then re enter the border to get work permit???!!!
According to CIC, it is allowed to re-enter at POE to have Work Permit processed. There are risks when CBSA officer does not approve your WP and their decision is final. So the decision is yours.
