Hi guys, going to be a Canadian citizen in 2 weeks. Have an urgent trip planned to India after a month in March. I will possibly be in India for an entire year.

Can I:
1. Travel to India on my Indian passport (during the 3 month grace period) and then surrender my Indian passport there and apply for Entry Visa
2. Or, can I travel to India on my Canadian passport on an e-visa/ tourist visa, surrender my Indian passport in India and then apply for any adjustment of status to get a Entry Visa
3. Is anytime spent in India on an Entry Visa be counted towards the 6 months required for OCI application in India? Apart from applying here in Canada, is there a better way to get the OCI after surrendering the passport in India (on an Entry Visa).
