Hi all,
I am expecting to receive a CoPR soon, and am considering landing in Canada and then returning for limited time to my country.
What are the options to enter Canada while waiting to receive my PR card? I have seen on CIC's website a page on PRTD - PR Travel Document. Is it necessary to apply for PRTD while I wait for the PR card to arrive? Anyone has experience with this? Please share yours.
You have two options: apply for prtd or land in the US and cross over in a private car with your copr. You would need to have a US visa if you don't already have one.
