Entering Canada on the same day as my visa expires

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum. My name is Scott. I have a question about temporary visitor visa. I am an international student from China, studying at Rosemont Technology Center. Right now, both my study permit and visa end on April 30th. However, about a week ago, my teacher told me the program will not end at the end of April, but the end of May instead. But I already bought the tickets to go back to China a long time ago, which is from April 18th to April 30th. Thus, my question is that if I submitted my study permit extension but have not received yet, could I enter Canada on April 30th if my old study permit and visa expire on the same day?
