I worked as an English mentor at my school where I did my undergrad in the US (while doing my undergrad).
I’ve tried to find the answer online but haven’t been successful, so I appreciate any feedback on whether the following job description matches NOC4021 - College and other vocational instructors (or maybe a different one would be better)? Thank you so much!
· Taught students grammatical rules, with an emphasis on writing formats such as APA or MLA, and other subjects related to the writing and research processes
· Provided individual instructions to students to improve their writing and research skills
· Developed strategies and exercises that helped students to identify mistakes
· Prepared materials to be used with students
· Evaluated students’ work by closely reviewing the assignments and by providing feedback to the students
· Facilitated sessions and discussion groups for students to improve their work
