English Test for Study permit

Hello guys...
I applied for my visa 2 weeks ago... however, in my application I couldn't prove that I have a recent and official english test score. I will take the TOEFL ibt test on March (My program starts on May) and in a letter that I sent with my application, I explained that I will take this test the next month.
I have the copy of my passport with an american visa J1 (it was for an academic exchange) and also in the application I wrote that it was for academic purposes.

Do you think that I can get a rejection or delay for the study permit?

VO will declare the result only after having the TOEFL marksheet.

They accepted me without TOEFL or IELTS, however I wrote in the optional letter that I will take that test on this month, also, I think that the academic exchange that I did in USA helped.
