Dear all, I hope this finds you well. I worked for a school as an English teacher for six months, teaching average of 26 hours/week. The issue is, the school was shut down permanently years ago. I contacted the Director of Studies and she wrote me a letter of reference in which she mentioned the full period of employment but not the salary. on top of that, the letter was written on a letterhead document of the school yet wasn't stamped nor signed since the school had been shut down before I received the letter. Due to the fact that the school was part of a well-known world organization, I managed to contact the headquarters and received a letter confirming the date which that branch was shut down. I still have all the emails received from the Director of Studies' official email containing my weekly schedules.

I didn't pay attention to the fact that the offer letter I received when I first started work wasn't signed nor stamped, the same was for the contract. The contract mentioned the number of hours I used to teach per week, and the offer letter included the salary and the starting date of my employment. I still got paid in hand but no proof of payment I can provide. One of my colleagues who worked with me there has her own school now and is willing to write me a reference letter using her company's name testifying that we worked together throughout my employment at the old school to support my case, will that work as a proof?

Another thing is, if I choose not to claim points for this experience, should I mention it now in my application while waiting in the pool, mention it later if I get an ITA, or should not mention it at all since I can give no proof for it? I want to be completely honest when applying for the Canadian Immigration, not only to not be mistakenly considered lying or anything, but since I've worked for almost my entire life for this dream.

Your assistance will be much appreciated

This is a really bad idea. You'll be risking a 5 year ban due to misrepresentation if you do this.

by the way, what I meant was that she is willing to testify that we worked together at the old school for my entire employment period, not saying that I worked at her new school.
