Hi Guys,

I am working with KPMG as a senior auditor and have same roles & responsibilities mention in this code (1111 - Financial manager & Auditors). However, I am just a graduate (BBA) & does not qualify with the employment requirement mentioned in this code.
Also, I have checked every other code given for accountants & auditors but my roles & responsibilities does not match with anyone apart from NOC 1111
Am i eligible to apply under this code?

Thanks!

Hi All,

Could someone please help me in clarifying the below doubt which is bugging me all the time. I wanted to know if i am eligible for EE.
I have done M.Sc in Microbiology in 2012 and got campus recruited by an MNC as a software engineer. Since then started working In IT field and have got 5+ yrs of exp in software development.
To apply for Canada PR, my duties fall under NOC code 2171 or 2173 which are related to IT purely. I didnt had atleast mathematics as my minor even. Wil I b eligible to apply as software engineer?
Employment requirements for Softwareengineer:
  • A bachelor's degree, usually in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering or mathematics or Completion of a college program in computer science is usually required.
  • A master's or doctoral degree in a related discipline may be required.
  • Licensing by a provincial or territorial association of professional engineers is required to approve engineering drawings and reports and to practise as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).
  • Engineers are eligible for registration following graduation from an accredited educational program, three or four years of supervised work experience in engineering, and passing a professional practice examination.
  • Experience as a computer programmer is usually required.
Any help clarifying this doubt helps me a lot. Thanks in advance..
