Can I know if the date the employment reference letter has to be one year within the date you submit your AOR?

If the employment letters are dated 2018 , and after my employment in the company are they valid or not?

They are valid.
Reference letter does not expire.

One would assume you would need the updated one, if not, I can guarantee you IRCC will ask for one and that will delay your process. I highly recommend you to get the new one. One year old reference letter is absolutely not gonna work.
