Hi guys,
I currently work in Canada, and have been working for a company here for over 2 years.
How vital is it that our previous jobs (and subsequent employment record) have similar fields to the current one I'm working in now (marketing for a biotech company).
I also have a 2 year post secondary degree in sport.
Does it matter that it all conflicts and isn't related to marketing/biotech.
Thanks,

If you have more than 1 year experience in the occupation you are currently working in and based on which you wish to apply for PR visa, you may go ahead.
What if I've been promoted from that position?

If it's the same role, same job, the promotion does not stop it counting as work experience.
