Employment Insurance

I have submitted the application to sponsor my parents for two and half years. I still waiting for responded.

I will be laid off end of this month. I would like to know will it affect the application if I receive employment insurance (EI) during this period?

Is the income from EI consider as income? I need to make sure that I meet the minimum income cutoff for 7 persons.

I don't think your EI will be enough why don't you start looking for a new job since u will be laid off
