HI guys, I am in very bad luck and lost job

I am planning to apply EI but I am applying PR under CEC program

does anyone know If I applied it i would be affected(refuse of the application or delay or so on...)

One of my friend(Old CEC Aug'14 applicant) got EI last year till June 2015 & after getting new job he requested CRA (Canada Revenue Agency) to stop them.
Two weeks back he got medical request.
Although I am not sure whether it affects PR application or not... In my understanding ..no

No EI does not affect your PR process. I know couple people who were on EI and they are PR now indeed they in the process of getting citizenship. I was on EI as well for 1 1/2 months I am so sure.. it will not put negative effects on your file.

Can you go on EI while waiting for your restoration of worker status to be approved?
