I had joined ABC company on Nov/2010 as associate and got promoted to senior associate on Feb/2012.
Pre ITA – I had mentioned the Nov/2010 as joining date with the senior associate designation.
Post ITA – I feel that as I am claiming points only for senior associate, I should have mentioned Feb 2012 as the joining date. I have got the Reference letter as well stating the same. Is it advisable to change the dates now and mention the joining date and joining title in the personal history? Then explain it with details in LOE.
If i change the dates to 2012 there is no change in my crs points and i still qualify.

if your NOC is same under both roles you can consider Nov 2010 as your joining date regardless of the job title. If your NOC's are different then you would need two different entries with different NOC codes.

The NOC is different and i have the reference letter for the second position attained after the promotion, so now i have changed the dates in the profile mentioning my senior associate profile, and have put the joining position in the personal history and i will explain it further in LOE why i changed the dates.
