Hi,

Immigration Category Sought: FSW - Category 3
Previous Job Title (1 Year): 'Quality Assurance Analyst - Industrial Placement'
I have Original Job Offer Letter with above title but employer will not provide detailed job description as its against Company policy.

This is in the NOC skilled list under 'Information Systems'; is it ok to show only job offer letter as proof of work experience?

Thank you.

CHC is more concerned for job description as I know.

Thanks

do you have any suggestions as to how else i can prove since employer will not provide? thanks.

So this is what I plan to do:

- enclose notarized offer letter with job title as 'Quality Assurance Analyst - Industrial Placement'.
- enclose signed letter that employer is unable to give detailed job description as per Company policy.
- Enclose some pay slips for when I was working there & giving email addresses of my Manager & Company "buddy" when I was working there.

Do you think this will be enough. Seniors & people with similar experience please comment.

I cannot comprehend an employer not providing an employee with a job description when employee first begins employment.
How does the employee know/understand the duties and expectations.

The employer did not provide - anybody thinks if I do what I wrote above, that it would be ok with the FSW Case Workers?

hi, i read about people advising others to give the appointment letter/contract etc in case the present or previous employer does not give reference letters with duties listed.

what I dont understand is, this is a mandtory document and not an optional one , how can we assume that CIC will accept our explanation and accept the appointment letter/contract ? Is there any mention in their OP Manuals ?
Or do we know of someone for whom this has worked?

I would really urge people to quote from their experience only if they have faced the situation and not presume and advise.

i gave my coleague's affidavit and my own explanaton and company email that they don't rovide this by their norm.

no employer is obligated to follow cic instructions for a PR applicant. the burden to prove my job duties performed is upon me.

hope this helps.
