I'd be travelling to India from Toronto on May 24, 2015. I've a layover of 6 hours 50 minutes in London (same day arrival and departure). Do I need a transit visa?
Airlines: Air India (Operated by Air Canada from Toronto to London)
I am in a similar situation and requesting your help.
I will be making my 'First landing' in Canada in a week time. But I will not be able to stay back in Canada until i receive my PR Card. So, i will be heading back to India via London without my PR Card.
My return Journey -
Toronto -> London Heathrow (terminal 2) -> Air Canada
London heathrow(Terminal4) to Mumbai -> Jet airways.
The connecting jet airways flight is only 3 hours from the Air canada arrival flight. Also, i will not be checking in any cabin baggage and will be travelling only with my Laptop bag. Do you think i need to get the UK Transit visa.
Can you please tell me your experience or if you know anybody else who went through same thing.
