Two recent changes introduced by CIC recently that can fasten the process of CEC - Online fee payment and eMedical.
Starting this thread to capture info regarding eMedical enabled CIC panel physicians. After receiving MR from CIC, it almost takes 3-4 weeks for the medical report to reach CIC (through courier) from the date of test. eMedical could be a good way to cut short this time as the medical report can be sent online by the physician to CIC. CIC website only lists the physicians empaneled to carry out Immigration Medicals but there is no info about which of them is eMedical enabled (this being a recent change).
Friends, please share any info that you may have about the name / address of physicians enabled with eMedical for the benefit of larger community.
i do not think any such link exists as on date coz eMedical is a very recent introduction. Applicants who have received MR and completed medicals through this new mode OR know physicians enabled with eMedical ... can share the details.
Since its a new introduction, you will not find any link which states that the panel physician is emedical enabled, the only thing you can do is call them up and ask.... Its definately a faster process than the paper based medicals. They click a pic at the clinic and upload in the system with your details. You have to fill the forms as usual like you do for any paper based medicals. Its the same process you go through. After your done with the medicals, It takes 3 working days for them to upload the medical reports in emedical system. Once this is done the CIC is notified. Emedical is faster as it takes less than a week to be in the system while paperbased medicals take atleast 3 to 4 weeks with the whole process of sending the courier to CIC... Hope this helps..
I did my emedicals in India.. am not sure it will help you.. but anyways here you go.....

Not sure if this can work but can we do our eMedicals in our home country.
I applied in Canada with CPP-O as visa office but I may go for a visit to India during that time. Might be a good idea to finish it up since I'm already there. Won't do it until cent percent sure that they would accept my medicals from home country.
sounds like eMedicals are the way to go... Way faster for CIC to get the results back.
Do you guys know if anyone in the GTA is eMedicals enabled ? My wife has called all the CIC doctors in Oakville, Mississauga, Hamilton and a few in Toronto and none of them seem to be ready yet for eMedicals.
