I received an email saying "you meet the eligibility requirements"
Then it goes on to say "A final decision will not be made until all remaining requirements are met. These requirements include medical, security and background checks."

I have completed the medical and it states on my application that I passed the medical
I have been to the RCMP and completed the background check and fingerprint.

Is the letter saying they have not received the background check?

No......the letter is saying you have passed eligibility assessment and the next step will be Background Check to be completed.......Background Check takes awhile.......check the Background Check Status message in your online account.......it should be either 1 or 2 below;

1.) “Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.”.

2.) “We are processing your background check. we will send you a message if we need more information.“.

Good......background check is in-process and when completed and after final review..........passport request or COPR should be next.

I’m June 28th too got this letter on the 14th of June, my Ecas changed to decision made for both sides on the 15th. Now we just wait for landing interview letter
