Eligibility for Masters after 3 year bachelors

Hello, I have a query that i feel most students who are currently doing b.com or 3 years bachelor's in India would have. If I want to persue a masters degree in Canada, Will I be eligible if i do a 1 year PG diploma from India just after my bcom. Does that count as 16 year of education?
I dont want to do a pg diploma from canada, because i feel it would not be worth spending.
Also, would love to know if anyone who did a 3 years bachelor's and ended up doing masters and their journeys.

Will depend on the school whether they will accept 3 yr bachelor plus a PG diploma.
