me and my wife we are on work permit here and have applied for PR under Economical class. My wife's pregnant and cannot continue to work for atleast 6 month. Mean while can i apply for Maternity leave or any other kind of EI? Will it interfere with my PR processing if I am taking any help for her as i Sponsered her to canada?

I have submitted my BCPNP application on Dec 19, 2016 but have not got any update till this moment. I am pregnant and my baby is due on March 21, 2017.

Just sent an email to PNPInfo@gov.bc.ca explained that I will take my maternity leave soon, let's see what they gonna reply.

I will keep you updated once I got any news from them. ;)
