Effect of LMO/valid work visa on PR application

I have Canadian work visa, valid till July 2015, and I am about to file PR this year through FSW category. However, due to some personal/ medical reasons I could not land in Canada for the job and continued my job in India.I have around 14 yrs of IT experience with more than 6 yrs as IT project Manager, around 3 yrs as Software Developer, and remaining exp of System Admin. Hence I was offered Software Developer job and my LMO was approved under 2174 NOC.

My concern is, that if I go ahead and apply for PR under 2171 NOC , as IT Project Manager, will the LMO have any negative effects on my application.

No, it won't have any impact in your application. You need to mention it though. Apply as soon as possible.
