Dear members, I have an engineer degree in EEE, and I would like to pursue PG in Data Analytics Program. I have approached few consultancies, almost all of them have advised me stating I don't have computer science background you may not get the Admission, Data Analytics or any Computers related programs, if by chance I got admitted to any college I will definitely be rejected at VISA .
They are forcing me to choose a degree that is related to Electrical. but I don't want to do it because I am not looking for a career in Electrical filed.
I have two plus years of experience as Data analyst with Amazon India .

As long as your choice of studies make sense and shows a career progression that is what counts. Your SOP must show how the program is a progression of your previous degree and adds new knowledge and skills. Most consultancies have no idea what they are talking about.
