EE Point for Work Experience

Hi everyone,

Is work experience counted by month or the date?

For example, if I started working on January 31,2018, the time that I could apply for 1 year experience should be January 31, 2019?

Does the date matter?
The reason why I asked about the date is that CIC website automatically raised my point eventhough my work experience is not fully 2 years yet.

EE profile is considering the month but I am certain that the VO considers dates.

It should be 12 months continuous.
