Hello All,
I am international student currently doing my PhD in Molecular biology in US university. I will be graduating next year, hopefully!! I am wondering about my chance to get a residency in Canada, I noticed that EE requires job experience. is PhD research considered a " work experience"? if not, what are the options I have to be able to work in Canada for a few years?

A PhD is not considered work experience. However, if you worked as a teaching assistant or research assistant during your studies, you can count that as work experience under the FSW class.
Hi Admin,
My Wife has done PHD from USA and we have claimed the 3 year and more work experience point in our express entry profile.
She got a roles and responsibility letter from her university with Research Assistant and Teaching assistant job title , 20 Hours a week and Full Time job and duration is 5 years.
Will that be okay? We just passed the medical post receiving AOR.
