Hello,
Trying to help my brother now plan his next few years so he qualifies for skilled worker

Under education I need some advice

Obtained a one-year diploma, trade certificate or apprenticeship and completed at least 13 years of full-time or full-time equivalent studies
Obtained a one-year university degree at the bachelor’s level and completed at least 13 years of full-time or full-time equivalent studies
Obtained a two-year diploma, trade certificate or apprenticeship and completed at least 14 years of full-time or full-time equivalent studies

The above mentions a "trade certificate". What would be acceptable? Comptia A+? CCNA? Microsoft Certification? He currently has a Toshiba Certified Engineer Cert.

Does the trade cert have to match the the NOC your applying under? As he also needs to get that 1 year work experience

Thanks

Robbie

What would you recommend

I've advised him to go for a UK HND basically 2 year degree level. That should give him enough points

I read up on the certs and they dont seem to cut it from what I can see
