If the person has got Two bachelors degrees ( each 14 years of education ) and two Masters degrees (each 2 years), how many points he will get for Education? 22 or 25?
BobbyB, i found what iateapple wrote confusing. Did he take two years for both his masters or 4 years for both his masters?
Iateapple
how long did it take you to get your last degree counting only the years you studied (take into account if any of your studies were part time). if EACH of your masters were 2 years (totally 4 years), and before your masters, you studied for 14 years, then you could get 25.
What do others think?
if both of your masters took 2 years together (totally only 2 years), and before your masters, you studied for 14 years, then you get 22.
So if someone finished a two year diploma after o levels and then did his MBA from UK that should be 11 years to O level and then 2 years for diploma and then one for masters which would be total 14 years education with masters degree. Thats 22 points, isn't it? Or is it 20 points?

You have a master’s degree and at least 17 years of full-time or full-time equivalent study - 25 points
If you studied less than the number of years listed with your highest degree or diploma, you must award yourself the points that match your years of study.
* Example 1: If you have a master’s degree but have completed only 15 years of full-time study, award yourself 22 points.
* Example 2: If you have a three- or four-year bachelor’s degree, and at least 14 years of education, award yourself 20 points.
please don't confuse yourself with the number of master degrees. the criteria definied by CIC for granting 25 points is that if the applicant has masters degree or PhD as his highest degree and the total number of studies is 17 or above.
imagine if CIC starts awarding 25 points to only those who have only one masters degree and more than 17 years of education (just like your understanding), then the only people who are going to get 25 points will be engineers having masters degree (i.e. 16 years upto bachelors in engineering and 1 or 2 years masters) .
