Education Points Clarifications

Hi,

I am planning to apply for canada PR and I have a dought in calculating my points for education.

My education details:

10 (Metric) + 3 (Polytechnic Diploma) + 3 (B.E degree) = 16 years. from India.

Should I need to consider 20 or 22? I m just confused.

Consider 20 points... do not rely on additional 2 points... if you are given...consider it as added advantage...

But in Guide EG7,Page No 7, it has mentioned as 22 points as below.

A three-year diploma, trade certificate or apprenticeship AND at least 15 years of full-time or full-time equivalent study 22

Bcaz adding this 22 point for education only makes me eligible for getting 67 point. Otherwise I am not eligible? I have decided to give an try? You have any comments on this?

You can't "lump" all your education together. It took 13 years to get the 3 year diploma would make it worth 15 points

DEar friend,
I am also having same confusion.
I have done diploma mechanical(3 years course)+bachleor of engineering mechanical(3 yrs) after 12th so how many points i will get
(12 years of school+3 years diploma+3 years B.E )
