Hello Everyone!

I need some info on the Educational Points awarded by CIC. I have a 3 year Bachelor Degree from India which has been assessed by WES and has been given a Canadian Degree Equivalency. I also have a 1 year PG Diploma from an UGC Approved Institute which I am planning to send for evaluation. can someone pls tell me which category can I claim points for? Just the Bachelor's or Under 'Two or more Degrees, Certificates, Diploma'?

Any info on this regard will be greatly appreciated!

I already responded to your other thread with similar query. Run through the CRS tool to check the points.

Thanks for that info.

However what I wanted to know is what will be the points that I will be able to claim with a 3 year Bachelor's and a 1 Year PG Diploma?

Just 120 or 128 points? Pls let me know.

If WES evaluates your PG Diploma as One-year Master degree then you could claim more points else it would be 120 points with Bachelor's degree.
Check this ECA Factor article.

Thanks. What if we get "one-year of graduate study with a focus in [area of concentration]" which I checked under the link that you sent. CIC claims that on top of a 3 year program if you have any of the listed programs assessed.

I am just a little curious and want to ensure I get the max points.
