I am from India. Can any one please tell me the number of years educational gap allowed between our previous degree and the current one, that we are applying.
I completed my under graduation in 2010 and now its been 4 and half year, I am working in a MNC. Can I apply for masters or Pg diploma. Am I eligible to apply ???
The consultant here in India, states that,it is not at all possible for me to study in Canada, as i have a long educational gap. Can I apply for a PG diploma. Will there be any possibilities for visa refusal because of this gap.?
I am from Pakistan but I think your consultant is wrong here. You are eligible to apply for any master or pgd program, all you need is to find a University, willing to give you admission based on your qualification and previous experience.
your consultant is absolutely wrong. no one cares how huge your gap is as long as you are successful in securing admission in an institute and convince visa officials that you need this degree or diploma. you may state that this will open better job opportunities for you or will help in getting promoted. just convince them and thats all. gap really matters if you have done nothing in this period and all of a sudden you feel for further education. if you can show them what you did in all this period (most preferably a relevant job) then its absolutely fine.
