Education gap within same degree | IMM 5669

Hello all,

My parents have multiple education gaps within their degree. I am wondering how shall I enter their education record. Let's say they did a three-year degree in the following manner:

Completed the first year of degree
--Took a gap of two years--
Completed the second year of Degree
--Took a gap of one year--
Completed the third year of degree

Shall I enter their degree as:

a) 1970-04 to 1976-04 - Level - Field - Name of School etc etc.

or

b) 1970-04 to 1971-04 - Level - Field - Name of School etc etc.
1973-04 to 1974-04- Level - Field - Name of School etc etc.
1975-04 to 1976-04- Level - Field - Name of School etc etc.

You can do either (a) or (b), doesn't really matter.

Personally, I would do (a).
