Education End Date

I have MCA degree from IGNOU, india. ECA (WES) is done and same is equivalent as Masters in Canada. My course duration is from Jan 2001 to Dec 2002 but my degree is awarded in 2008 due to some missing marks/pending semester exams. In EE profile what would be end date as it asked for course end date? If I put start date as Jan 2001 to Mar 2008 and duration as 2 years, there will be mismatch. In WES certificate degree date is printed as 2008.
