eCAS question

I went to the CIC website to check my application status and I received the following message when I typed in my CID:

If you want to see the details of an application, click on the underlined status.
(check box) Please remove the ability for me or anyone else to view the status of my application and address information on this Web site.

They don't give me the option to keep my application on the website, just check box, 'Submit' button and 'Logout' buttons. I am unable to proceed past this screen as I never logged in to eCAS before.

Please note that I am unable to login with my Application # (F#########).

On top of it, I had to enter 'Serbia and Montenegro' even though I put 'Serbia, Republic Of' on my application. Technically, my POB should be 'Yugoslavia'.

Wait a few days and try accessing it again. Do NOT click on the box or click on submit (usually that box shows up below the links to information on your file). You may want to check on the thread at http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/problem-viewing-status-on-ecas-t114289.0.html also where others are discussing this issue so you get a sense when it starts working for others too.

don't click on the "submit" because otherwise you will not have the possibility to see it again...

it should look like that

click on the underlined "application received" and that's where you might have details.

mine says ( once I click):

Permanent Residence
We received your application for permanent residence on April 12, 2012.

Medical results have been received.


and that's about it!

I am a canadian spouse applicant from colombo my husband has submitted the application n cpc has received it on feb25,2012 and my husband got any email stating one application no.starting with F.....and in july i got a call from the colombo embassy regarding my aunts and uncles DOB.After that i didnt receive any call or mail from them and also i am not able to view my application status in online till nw and i didnt get a file no.from the colombo embassy
