Is it possible that ecas updates can be an error sometimes? my husbands is the PA n his ecas says we started processing ur file but when he called cic they said file is still at sdney office? we thought that line only appers once ur file is transferd to another visa office n then when an visa officer starts working on ur file only then u get that line? below is our timeline

Biometric completed: Sep 16
Medical completed: sep 19
Sponsor ecas says Decision Made n only has 3 lines:
We revd ur applicatio
We sent u AOR
We started processing ur file

Hi, I think second line appears only after local visa office starts working on your case. This is not a first time when I read that someone’s case was transferred and or their computers it stills shows Sydney. You did not receive email about transfer?

no..the agent sd that not all files get transfered sometimes most processing happens in sydney n then for final processing it goes to secondary visa office which i already knew but didnt think u would get this line on ecas if file is still at sydney

Yes I undertand that, my file was in Sydney for 8 months where they did some work too. But eventually all of those files will Ben transferred to the local visa office to finish processing. And if second line appears about: we start working on your file on date... means file was transferred. Just my own experience.

okay ..so when ur file was trasnfered u got that line? or when u got AOR2 yhen u got that line. we r confused bcz how can they send sponsor approval n then the 2nd line update same day dont they have to do sponsor approval first n then transfer the file n then when u get AOR2 then u get the 2nd line?
Hello, what ended up happening to you as far as the second line in the ECAS is considered. I'm in a similar situation where I have the line saying that have started processing my application. But when I called them, they said it's still in Nova Scotia. Any help is appreciated? Thank you.

it can be London it can be Mississauga for u. How many lines you have on ecas under pa side? London usually sends a letter about transfer though.
