ECA report of my wife's academic record

Hi everyone.
Will I really need ECA report of my wife's academic record if I am the primary applicant in Express Entry profile?
If yes, is it possible to have ECA reports of both of us in single fee?

Yes, you will need separate applications for you and your wife if you wish to include her score in your CRS.
Before you apply for CRS calculate your score http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp
And only if you see that your score is eligible for ITA then go for it.
