When people enter Canada for the first time as PR we’re allowed to declare personal belongings for duty free import. However, relevant sites didn’t mention how to go about it in the case of virtual landing which has been in practice for more than 3 years at all. Let’s say I’m perplexed.I've found examples of people managing to bring their belongings over duty-free through the land border from the US after a virtual landing. However as I’m from Asia this may not be applicable to me.
Does anyone have any insights on how to handle this?
