E-cas tracker update email: did anyone else just get a spurious one?

I just got an e-cas tracker update email, but no status change. E-cas just says "medicals received", the same as it did last time. It's just teasing me!

Did anyone else get this?

Well consider yourself lucky my wifes has not changed as of yet from in porocess since april.

same for me..no change in my status since july and it says that a decision has been made (sponsorship).
but we got the letter and everything indicating yes and that was a few weeks ago. it is disappointing checking every tuesday to still see that same status.

LOL you guys ..... I totally feel your pains. I have been doing this each week for the last year and more.

It's become a little "look forward to" event for me.

I checked again - my case type has changed from 10 to 4, so I guess that's why the tracker emailed. I wonder if that means someone is actually looking at it? Crosses toes....

I'm still waiting for e-cas tracker to have anything at all to track!! but some people got e-cas updates over the weekend (which is just weird), and if you're getting an email now, I guess that means that's the tuesday update???


*sigh* looks like another week for me....

my application, if the people in my month are any indication, should have a decision made on thursday or friday....so fingers crossed that there's just a lot of e-cas updating this week.

although it would also be nice if Missisauga's processing times were updated!!

I would get excited just to see e tracker email me and just say hello hahahaha i have seen or heard nothing at all even with all the info submitted or things they asked nothing.I guess when its all said and done i will get an email for 5 days stright just for them to catch up unless they go from in Process to complete in one shot.

My Husband's file was forwarded to Buffalo at the end of July. He has not gotten a client ID yet. Is there a way for me to check the status of his application for PR or wait until he gets his client ID? I tried using IMM540 with his information but no record as of yet. However, if I input my information, it just shows that the decision was made on July 26th.

Some embassies use these numbers as reference to what part of your app they are on the number system varies in different embassies so knowing what the numbers mean.Only they know.Its sort of a file system they use.It has no effect on you.

When you sign up for the e-cas tracker, you get emails from it with info such as case number. A very useful tool!
