In the IMM5709, I have to fill out the "duration of expected study". I have currently completed 69 credit hours and my program usually requires 4 years to complete (120 credit hours), so technically speaking I need 51 credit hours left (aka less than a year to complete).

However not all of these 69 credit hours go towards my degree since I took a bunch of electives during my 1st year to figure out what program I like. So in reality, I still need at lease 66 credit hours to actually complete my degree (more than 2 years).

So what should I fill out in the expected duration of study? And how could I explain my situation to IRCC? I try to contact my advisor but they still haven't reply yet. But even if they did, I doubt that they can help.

I did have LOA for my general degree (3 years) but then I changed to a honours degree (4 years) within the same university. They didn't give me the LOA for my honours degree tho.

But I got Letter of Enrollment which states I have already completed 69 CH, my degree, and a general expected duration of study for a honours degree is 4 years (120 CH).

However, like I said, not all of my 69CH are counted towards my degree, hence I will need more than 4 years to actually graduate. But my Letter of Enrollment does not show that information of course. So if I just simply apply, I will probably get less than 2 years, but in reality I will need more than 2y to complete.
