DUBAI POLICE REPORT change rule??!?

Hi all. My co worker came from Dubai and she need UAE police report to apply PR . She did fingerprint and got authenticate and notarized from both foreign affairs and UAE embassy Canada .then she send to Dubai. But Dubai police says no need any fingerprint from Canada that they v'e already fingerprint record in their system. Is that current change rule in UAE criminal record? Even the UAE embassy Canada mention nothing about it http://www.uae-embassy.ae/Embassies/ca/Content/1181 My concern i need also police report from UAE .as my experience while I was in UAE I did so many times finger print i.e. for applying Emirates ID.etc.anyone has same situation share experience.

it depend on the personal...Did you have UAE's ID card when you were there? If you had UAE card before or you used to asked police clearance certificate in UAE before.. you just send your passport coppy,copy UAE resident permit, 2 photos passport size, fee and autherize letter(if you ask someone do it for you)
if you were in UAE but never apply UAE ID before or never apply police clearance certificate you must follow step as UAE embassy in Ottawa annoucing.

yes i still v"e uae id card vallid until 2015.and i did fingerprint in uae when i apply work permit.thanks mawin

I know it’s been long,but was ur Emirates id valid? I do have my Emirates id with me but it’s expired now , would that work
