I have applied for Canada immigration in 2008 and my sister got citizenship of USA,now she wants to drop my case for the US green card as a citizen of USA. Will this affect my Canadian immigration case or anything in future? Please let me know.

I know one person did the same. She moved to Canada few years back but will go to the USA next year. It should not be a problem but you have to honestly inform them if they asked. Also remember for USA, processing time is more than 10 years. Best of luck.
