I am currently a dual citizen (British & Irish) and I plan to apply for Canadian citizenship after C-6 (3/5 rule) is implemented. I am under the impression there will be no issue having all of these citizenship while gaining Canadian citizenship (3 in total)?
For the current Canadian citizenship application do I have do complete any additional paperwork or do I just scan both passports in the application pack? Will being a dual citizen likely slow down the application process.
You see. I wish China would be able to recognize dual citizenship. It cost extra to apply for working visa in China. Even if you get married, it takes 5 years to gain citizenship. Either way, it is not encourage to travel between these two countires. I regret getting my Canadian citizenship, I wish I would still choose to be Chinse instead.

Currently, I am a Canadian working in China. I have decided to renounce my Canadian citizenship. In fact, I think I want to stay in China for the rest of my life if fingers crossed there are no wars or disaster. I do not feel I fit in the Canadian culture. My family had a culture shock when first landing in Canada. I have different opinion on keep Canadian citizenship if your spouse has Chinese citizenship. blaa blaa blaa. First, I think I might like Canada better when I retire, but in fact , I love everything perfectly as is in China.
