Driving with International License for first 6 months

Hi,

Is it possible to drive with an international drivers license for 6 months, assuming one has already completed first landing, left to their home country and returned to living in Canada permanently, lets stay after a 1 year ?

The rule is typically that once you establish an address in a particular province you are required to change license within 3 months. It does depend on the province, but a safe rule of thumb is 3 months.
