Driving To Canada after COPR

Hello,
I have a copr expiring on feb 14, 2018. I am driving to Canada on a Saturday but I need to return back to US on the same (at the max next) day. My question-
1. Will all the interviews etc be done in a day?
2. I will give a friend’s address who will receive my PR card.
3. After my friend receives the PR card, how do I travel back to Canada. I don’t want him to courier my cards. My COPR will be expired by the time PR cards are published.

Your CoPR don't expire. The expiration date on your CoPR is the last day you must land in Canada.
