I understand there are countries with which Canada has agreement such that people that has drivers licence of such countries could exchange their licence for Canadian driver licence.
I have à French driver licence, though I’m not a French citizen. What is the process of the exchange. Would I still be required to undergo some tests or I would just be granted the Canadian drivers licence directly.
Depends on which province you settle in. Alberta has a reciprocal agreement with France, so it's just a straight swap. You won't be able to keep your French license. You can check the provincial website where you are planning to settle for more information.
