doubt on study permit in passport

i just received my passport and got visa. but guys there is a letter and also there is a visa sticker in passport. whats is a study permit?
the letter or the visa sticker?
please explain.

You need to show that letter to the officer at the port of entry and s/he will issue the study permit and give you a beautiful color study permit.

That's your student visa not the study permit.

When you land in Canada. You will go through Immigration. They will look at your Passport and documents and issue you a permit right there. Thats the study permit and you have to hold on to that till the time you are here.
