I am Indian, I was in UK from 2008 to 2012. came back to india on 2012 and now applied for FSW immigration program and got my file number... I have a doubt about changing driving licence. I currently hold UK driving licence and Indian driving licence. both valid.
UK driving licence valid upto 2052. i heard that i can exchange UK driving licence to Canada one. But i am worried whether still i can change it even tho i was not in UK for 2 years and will it be a valid one yet and Is there any paper i have to get from UK for changing it to Canadian licence ?
ok .. Do u have any idea whether i can apply abstract from India or not ? i will have a search online but still if you will get any information about this please let me know....
You don't need a drivers abstract from the UK if you are exchanging for an Ontario licence. I had mine available and they were not in the slightest bit interested. You only need the unexpired photocard and paper counterpart. This is my experience from a week ago.
