Hello,
I'm applying for the International Experience Canada visa and have been asked to submit the documents (family information, police certificates, etc.).
I received a caution (UK) in 2010 for common assault and have also been asked for a court record/police report. I have applied for a Subject Access Request to the UK police, but don't think I will be able to get it in time for the 20 day deadline, so do you have any advice? My police certificate will say 'NO LIVE TRACE' i.e. there is a spent conviction.
Potential options could be:
1. Find another document in lieu of Subject Access, but what? I have no documents relating to my caution.
2. Send a print of the request and promise to provide it at a later date.
Does any one have any advice on this? Many thanks!
PeeJay.
